VOLUNTEER FOR THE DOG RUN
Do you love your dog? Then you might love helping make our small and large runs safe, healthy, clean and fun places for our dogs to hang out in. Everything that is done in the run is done by volunteers. What do we do? Much more than you might think! And we would love your help.
Clean Up & Maintenance:
- Picking up mysterious piles of dog poop that belong to no one's dog.
- Changing the garbage, which is not as bad as you think.
- Raking, which (in addition to being a Zen practice) moves the gravel back to the center of the run, moves gravel around so that flies don't congregate and exercises hard to reach back muscles.
Social Media Fun:
- Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook...there are so many other ways to socialize on the web. Social media help wanted!
Sponsorship and Business Development -- Marketing and biz devvers needed! We need to reach out to local and online businesses and get them to:
- Sponsor us by donating money, particularly for promotion our dog run calendar.
- Sponsor us by donating products and services for events, particularly for treats and prizes for our Halloween party.
- We are one of the world's most valuable target markets of loving, indulgent dog owners!
Whatever:-
- We occasionally need volunteers for random projects and errands, and for events. If you're up for whatever, we need you!
